Our Practice

A different kind of opticians

Tudball Opticians is an independent, fully private, optical practice on Hill Road in Clevedon — and from the moment you walk through the door, you’ll notice the difference.

There are no bright lights, no clinical feel, no pressure to decide quickly. Instead, you’ll find a calm, relaxed environment where every patient is given the time and individual attention they deserve. From your first appointment to your ongoing care, everything here is built around you.

How we work

Your care is shared between our optometrist and Lucie, our dispensing optician. The optometrist carries out your hour-long sight test, while Lucie then takes your prescription and spends the time to understand your lifestyle so that she can create the right lens for your individual needs.

Together, they make sure that everything — from your examination to your final choice of frames and lenses — is right for you.

Our process

Every appointment is built around you, not the clock. Your sight test includes OCT scans and photographs as standard, with time to talk through your results and ask any questions.

Choosing your frames gets the same unhurried attention. And once you leave, ongoing care — adjustments, servicing, and repairs — is always available whenever you need it. For patients who purchase their eyewear here, that support is part of the service, for life.
